Getting The Kidney Allowance

1.Acceptance of duly completed application form.

Grama Niladhari Recommendation - (verification of low income and residence)

Medical prescription (Medical prescription should be given by the doctor of kidney clinic.)

2.Social Service Officer conducts a case study and gives recommendations.

3.As soon as provision is made in the General Secretariat for Persons with Disabilities, allowances will be provided.

    Granting Adult Allowance

1.Acceptance of duly completed application form.

Recommendation of Grama Niladhari (for parents who do not work in low-income housing estates and whose children are not working in government Sector.)

Completion of 70 years of age - copies of birth certificate, copies of adult identity card, copies of national identity card should be submitted.

2.Social Service Officer conducts a case study and gives recommendations.

3.Admission to the waiting list.

4.Commencement of stipend immediately after grant or upon withdrawal of current grantee.
