1. Acceptance of duly completed application form. Grama Niladhari Recommendation - (verification of low income and residence) Medical Recommendation-(Confirmation of Disability) 2.Social Service Officer conducts a case study and gives recommendations.(The income of the family, the nature of the disability, whether it happened after birth, whether the disabled person is the head of the family, or whether there are other disabled people in the family are considered. Points are also given.) 3.Admission to the waiting list. 4.As soon as provision is made, arrange for the grant to be made, and if a current grantee withdraws, place someone on the waiting list.

Completion of 70 years of age - copies of birth certificate, copies of adult identity card, copies of national identity card should be submitted. 2.Social Service Officer conducts a case study and gives recommendations. 3.Admission to the waiting list. 4.Commencement of stipend immediately after grant or upon withdrawal of current grantee.
