Mr.Prabath Abeywardena, a senior official of the Sri Lankan administration, first visited the Muthiangana Raja Maha Viharadhipathi Muruddeniya Dhammarathana Nayaka Thero and engaged in religious rites and received blessings. After that, he started working as the Badulla District Secretary today (2023-06-15) in the morning at the Badulla District Secretariat.

Mr. Prahat Abeywardena, who joined the administrative service in 1998, has performed his duties as an Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Industry of the Uva Provincial Council, as a Director of the Textile Department, and as an Assistant Secretary of the Uva Provincial Public Service Commission.
