The Ministry of Justice and National Integration and the Badulla District Secretariat jointly organized an entertaining program using stories and songs for the children of the orphanages of the Badulla Divisional Secretariat on 15.07.2025 at the Badulla District Secretariat Auditorium under the patronage of Additional District Secretary Mrs. Nilanthi Samarawickrama.

The resource person for this program was Ms. Desika Priyangwada Godage, a teacher advisor on drama and theatre in the Nivitigala region, an experienced dramatist. The event was attended by the Administrative Officer of the Badulla District Secretary's Office, the District Child Rights Promotion Officer, the Child Rights Promotion Officer of the Divisional Secretariat, the National Integration Officer and other government officials as well as members representing co-operative societies.

This entertaining program was implemented with the funds of the Ministry of Justice and National Integration and was supported by World Vision and Serendib Flour Mills. This program was organized by the National Integration Coordinator of the District Secretariat, Ms. E.A. Nadeera Edirisinghe.
